| A soldier must be properly outfitted! When you enlist, you will have access to BOA exclusive member merchandise from our new online store. There, you can purchase rank insignias, t-shirts, polo's, replacement dog tags, and a whole host of other merchandise to proudly display the fact you are a Big Orange Army Soldier! |
|
Advancement is probably the easiest part of being
a Big Orange Army soldier. All you have to do
is keep being the loyal fan you are now! Every
time you recruit a new member you will receive
advancement points. Everytime you support the Vols Men's or Ladies, any sport, home or away), you receive advancement points. As you accrue these points,
you may advance in rank! In turn, as you advance
in rank you will unlock specialty merchandise
in our online store devoted just to you (based
on your Corps, Division, Specialty Unit, Squad,
Rank, etc.). Along the way, you will also receive
small gifts to show our appreciation of your hard
work, loyalty, and dedication.
We also are very active in the communities we live in. Part of our ongoing mission is to support our communities through service projects and participation in raising awareness for various groups. You will earn additional advancement points by helping with these events. This is the fastest way to advance through the ranks of the Big Orange Army. Check the EVENTS page regularly to see where we are and what you can do to help out!
Lastly, from time to time, a BOA officer may put out a Call To Duty! This is a special situation where we must mass our troops to support a Volunteer team in need of some enthusiastic fans. If you answer this Call To Duty! and attend the event with your BOA attire, you will receive additional (in some cases double!) points towards advancment.
AND REMEMBER: always make sure to check in at the
BOA station so we can record your dog tag number
and award you points! (COMING SOON! the BOA Smartphone App which will allow you to check in remotely just by being in the right place at the right time - no check in station required!)
